So Long, Fare Well

Last night we celebrated our friends Ben and Rachel who have decided to move to Israel in January. They are leaving DC soon to visit family and then off they go. All of us are happy for them but are pretty sad to see them go. We rallied to send them off with a final farewell party that was sure to make them want to stay. It was a great night but sadly, they’re still moving

We made them a photo book with pictures from the last 5+ years so they can see their friends often

It was an amazing night! I’d say we were successful in giving our friends a warm send off.

Today has been all about trying to recover, starting with multiple refills of my Brita pitcher, a large coffee, and an Udi’s whole grain bagel with some Earth Balance and a fried egg white.

My couch and I are bonding and I’m getting really excited for the DC Cookie Swap this afternoon!
