When I was allergy-tested, the list of foods I could no longer eat was quite long. The only one that I have truly outgrown is my peanut allergy.
Foods that I am allergic to:
- Gluten (wheat, barley, oats, rye, spelt, and more)
- Quinoa
- Dairy
- Egg yolk
- Fish
- Seafood
- Pumpkin
- Bananas
- Coconut
Foods that I eat:
- Fruits
- Vegetables
- Egg whites
- Beans
- Grains including: rice, buckwheat, millet, corn
- Potatoes and yams
- Soy
- Chicken, beef, and turkey
As a result of the food research I have done in recent years, I try to buy all natural, organic foods whenever possible. I have moved away from factory farmed meats and buy local, grass-fed sources of protein.
The foods that I post on my blog are just some of what I eat in a given day.
